Annie McKenzie

I’m a bilingual (French/British) actor from North East Lincolnshire, now based in London. Though I do still make a proper brew and say “Iya love, y'alright?”

I work across theatre, immersive, film, TV and radio, usually playing darkly funny, fiercely vulnerable and prone to unravelling women (or all three at once).

Screen credits include The Crown, NHS Pharmacy First and Free From Him. Theatre and immersive work has ranged from Shakespeare to site-specific, wizarding prisons to murder mysteries on moving trains.

I’m particularly interested in bold, grounded work with humour at its heart. The kind that makes you laugh and then devastates you five mins later.
